4 Ways to Turn Less into More

Money, time, connections — you need more of everything, right? Stop whining and start using your contraints to your advantage.

Sometimes less really is more, especially when you’re starting a company.

If you have plenty of resources, it’s easy to convince yourself you’re doing well. Problems get overlooked, waste goes unnoticed, and revenue shortfalls are covered by cash reserves… often until it’s too late.

More—whether more money, more time, more automation, or a bigger network—can actually make long-term success more elusive. On the other hand a constraint can be a blessing in painful disguise, forcing you to pay attention to what really matters.

Here are four ways to turn less into a lot more:

1. Money. No startup has “enough” money. Many businesses are started with no money.

If capital is tight, make that an advantage. Instead of spending time—and the little capital you do have—on things that make your business seem like a “real” business, spend all your time finding ways to generate revenue as soon as possible.

Like Jason Fried says, starting a business is not the same thing as making money. A successful entrepreneur masters one skill that is more important than all others: Making money.

When you don’t have money you’re forced to focus on finding customers and generating revenue. Learn how to do that and then worry about running a business, because without customers you don’t have a business.

2. Time. You have a great idea. You just need time to pull it off. If only you could quit your job and devote yourself full-time…

Don’t. Except in rare cases, the smart move is to keep your full-time job while you start a business on the side. Granted it’s not easy: Sacrifice, discipline, and a lot of hard work are definitely required.

But that’s okay—if you aren’t willing to sacrifice and work hard, your start-up will fail whether you keep your full-time job or not.

If you’re truly committed to your idea, you will naturally maximize the time you are able to devote to your start-up; the three hours a day you are able to spend will be a lot more focused. And you’ll naturally strip out “nice to have” features and focus solely on what customers really need—and will pay for.

3. Automation. Most large companies improve processes and cut costs with automation. It’s tempting to copy the big boys, but in a start-up, adopting automation early on is often unnecessary and even counter-productive.

For example, I bought a product from a small company. A couple days later I received a recorded call thanking me for my purchase and encouraging me to contact them if I had questions or wanted to provide input. I’m sure it was intended to be a nice touch but it just felt tacky.

In the early stages of a business, avoid automation where it touches the customer. If you want to thank a customer for their purchase, email or call them personally. If a customer complains, respond personally. Automation can save time, but if you want to build a customer base—and get ideas for how you can improve your business from the people who matter most—communicate with customers the old fashioned way.

Less automation typically leads to more engagement. Stay personal for as long as you can.

4. Network. A huge network is a huge advantage, right? Not in a start-up. You don’t have time to nurture dozens or hundreds of connections.

Quality of connections, not quantity, is what matters most. And don’t worry about the “status” of a connection; all that matters is whether you can help each other reach your goals.

Find someone you can help. Reach out. Give before you worry about receiving. That person may help you in return or may connect you with someone who can.

Spend 90 percent of your networking time building a few quality connections; devote the remainder to building a large group of social media connections. Remember, any tool that automates or makes the process of making connections easy will rarely establish the connections you really need.

Most of us aren’t visionaries. We can’t, even if given unlimited resources, sit down and map out a groundbreaking new product or service. But most of us are great at solving problems. Constraints are problems you can solve.

And every time you do, you build a better product or service—and a better business.

Your questions about black entrepreneurs

Nancy asks…

Chinese Market in South Africa?

I recently visited a chinese market in South Africa, with numerous black South Africans working for them, What amazed me, about most of these chinese people, was their business skills, I see them owning the business trade here in South Africa, but I see, absolutley no people skills, Is it because, they are`nt so proficient, with the english language or is it just their way of conduting themselves, but what did impress me, about the black South African`s, was their eagerness and enthusiasm to sell, the products. It was if, they were the entrepreneurs.

When to Admit Your Business Has Failed

The only thing worse than failing is sticking with a doomed business long after its fate is sealed. Here’s how to know it’s time to move on.

Every small business struggles. Struggle is what you signed up for when you became an entrepreneur. (I’d say we’re still struggling at Sageworks, and we’ve made the Inc. 500 twice.) Even the most successful business builders have all gone through moments when they wondered whether they should call it quits and try something different.

And, let’s be honest: Sometimes the answer is yes: It just isn’t worth it to keep pressing. How do you know it’s time? Here are three ways:

1. You See Little Revenue (and No Profit) After Many Iterations

It takes between three and seven years to become established. I’d like to offer a more specific date, but it depends too much on your industry. I can only say it will take the most complex businesses seven years to start up.

In this beginning period, you consistently change your products’ make-up as you receive feedback. A pull from the marketplace should develop—and grow. This means revenue flows in, and profit follows.

If you reach the end of the development stage, and you see stagnant or declining growth, then it’s time to get out. Again, I wish I had a precise growth number, but it’s entirely industry-specific. It should be a healthy amount, though. And don’t waste your time if your revenue has flat lined. Avoid clinging to the hope that you’ll find a way to make it grow again.

This happened to me when I ran a consulting business in the 1990s. Revenue rose, but then fell flat after Year 3. I continued for another three years, and I regret it. I should have realized scaling the business any further was impossible: A company would hire a single consultant—they’d pay me to tell them what to do—but they would balk at hiring an entire company of consultants.

2. You’ve Borrowed A Lot of Money

The fundamental goal is always this: Make a profit. Too much borrowing can keep you from achieving it.

By “borrow,” I mean receiving any financial capital that isn’t yours. This can mean the old-fashioned sort of seed funding—a bank loan or some money from family—or outside equity financing such as venture capital and angel investment.

This financing can disrupt a revenue stream. Too often now I see companies eschewing revenue and profit for outside funding. Sure a Series D round may sound good, but, to me, that’s a fundamental flaw. Companies today can rely on funding to grow their business, forsaking organic growth, and soon too much funding can distort a business’s value.

If you stopped taking funding, would your business still grow? If the answer is no, then you have a problem. Just because you’re a successful fundraiser doesn’t mean you run a successful business—at least as I would define it.

3. You Hate Working Weekends

You start a business with the loftiest goals and ideas. It’s your passion. You don’t notice how early you start or when you go home.

So, when you start feeling like you don’t want to work a weekend, that’s the biggest red flag I know.

This business is your dream. You shouldn’t care how long it takes to perfect it. Or when it needs you. You’ve lost that entrepreneurial drive, and that’s exactly what fuels you and your business through any struggle.

Your questions about poor time management

Donald asks…

Do most medical schools weigh more on upperdivision courses?

I currently have a GPA slightly below a 3.0, but still have over 100 units to go (I’m a bioengineering student with a minor). I had a rough start at university, but according to my academic counselor, I still have the ability to graduate university with a GPA of 3.5. I’ve been doing well in my upperdivision courses (aced organic chemistry courses) and hopefully will do well in my engineering upperdivs.

My first two years at uni I didn’t do so well because I was really spreading myself thin (helping start up a medical clinic in Africa, working as an undergrad research associate in a laboratory, heavy involvement in several community service organizations, etc). I’m a first generation university student in my family and learned the hard way the consequences of poor time management.

I was wondering if medical schools, as well as graduate schools in general, weighed upper division courses more than lower division courses.

Thanks!

admin answers:

Graduate schools yes, medical schools no. Most grad schools won’t care so much what you got in into bio if you aced everything after that. Med schools, on the other hand, generally don’t require upper division bio courses at all, or chem beyond organic. The reason is that people can major in all kinds of humanities areas and still apply to med schools with just a few science classes. So you generally need to do well in those intro courses they require, more than the upper division courses they don’t. All schools like to see improvement over your four years, though, which is something.

Results to be declared soon- example of poor management of website by CICSE -India?

This is another example of poor website management by Reputed Indian Organization-Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations(CISCE), New Delhi, Results 2008. The message ” Results to be declared soon!”" is being displayed since last 48 hrs. Does soon stands for that.
Students are waiting since last 48 hrs and assume that soon means any time. 48 hrs covers 2 days. In my understanding soon may be used for few mints to few hrs but less then a day.
Does any authority will take the responsibility for the harassment of the students and parents. I am sure that there is none and nothing is going to be happen with responsible authority. This is a supplement of example of my earlier question about poor information revolution in India , though having produced top professionals for the world but not for its own. Dont think that I am not Indian. I am, and that is why I feel this.
The website is

http://www.examresults.net/cisce/

The May 17th was already declared for the announcement of results. There is any delay due to technical reasons that must be notified on the site.

It has come to my conclusion that Time Warner Cable needs better management!?

Time Warner has for some time been trying to double bill me and they won’t take no for an answer even though I have the proof and they keep deigning it and with their phone service I can’t get nothing fixed because you can never get the same person twice to get the problem fixed! This all is very poor business practice! Has anyone else had problems with them and if so explain what happened!

admin answers:

We had the same experience with them previous to firing them! If you cannot go into an office and be face to face with a representative, call in and immediately request a floor-supervisor. You can also research them to get the Customer Service Operations (corporate) contact and go straight up the chain…that typically will get you some response and action. GOOD LUCK!

Your questions about 21st century insurance

Donald asks…

Insurance company charging my PARENTS?

i recently got my license and the insurance company called my parents (21-century), and told them that the have to pay a ridiculous amount of money because I live in their house and I have a license. I don’t even have a car. I thought u had to have a car to pay for car insurance. They guy who spoke to my mom told her it was a new law even if i don’t have a car. By the way i live in california.Do i have to pay insurance just because i got a license? Do i have to forfeit my license in order to live with my parents without getting charged for insurance?

admin answers:

Your parents can sign an Exclusion. This means that if you get caught driving their vehicle, the insurance will be canceled and no claims for damages will be honored.

Sandy asks…

Do realty companies like Century 21 offer health insurance and 401k plans?

With matching contributions?

Or are realtors mostly left out on their own to fend for themselves?
Just curious.
Oops – for their employees (workers).

admin answers:

The realtors are not employees. Everyone is self employed, even realtors are answering the phone, they get leads from the phone, not pay.

The office may belong to a HMO, but the realtor will have to pay 100% of the costs, which is going to be roughly $1,000 a month for 1 person, $1,500 a month for a family

Hit By car while riding bicycle in Los Angeles.?

Earlier today I was riding my bicycle in the city of carson which is located in Los Angeles county. The car was leaving a plaza while i was riding on the sidewalk. He did not look both ways and did not see me i tried to avoid him but by that time it was too late. He hit me on I bounced off of the hood onto the floor. I filed a Claim with his insurance which is 21st century insurance. i sustained injuries but have not been to a doctors office yet.

Should i get a lawyer?

Any info would be appreciated
thank you.

admin answers:

1) Why the HELL were you on the sidewalk? Consult links below. You are safer & make yourself MORE visible by riding on the streets because a bicycle is a “vehicle”.
#2) Motorists do NOT expect to find bicycles on the sidewalk. They expect to see pedestrians that move at a much lower speed.
#3) By all means – get to a doctor.
#4) By all means – get a good attorney.

Lastly – read from cover to cover the on-line pamphlet Bicycling Street Smarts on last link below.

Inside the Entrepreneur’s Brain With the Start-up Doctor

What do hyper-creatives, emergency room nurses, and CEOs have in common? Dr. Aaron Blackledge has identified a particular neuro-chemical pattern. Do you have “entrepreneur brain?”

Aaron Blackledge doesn’t like to stand still. He possesses kind of mindset that is often too fidgety to stand the tedious process of going into through education. So instead of settling into higher education, Blackledge doubled down and completed his pre-med in nine months. He decided to open Care Practice in the Mission District of San Francisco in 2008 with the goal of shaking up traditional doctor’s offices: Instead of relying on insurance referrals, he swarmed social media with information about the clinic, treating its opening like a buzzy new restaurant launch. The formula was a hit with the area’s start-up crowd. Thee and half years later, he’s seen more than 8,500 patients. And treating these largely tech-savvy and entrepreneurial-minded clinets has revealed a common thread about how the entrepreneurial mind works—and how to treat it. He spoke with Tim Donnelly in advance of delivering a talk Saturday at Summit Series, entitled: “The Entrepreneur’s Mind: Understanding Our Most Powerful Resource.”

How did you go from medical student to entrepreneur?
I was a young doctor that had worked in the system. I had come from art school, I was a hypercreative, I had gone to medical school because I had thought “if I have an M.D. I can pretty much go around and do whatever the hell I want.” I was so frustrated with health care, I couldn’t find out why health care was so non-intuitive. It made absolutely no sense how it was structured. All these different places I’ve worked from ERs to urgent cares to to hotel doctor to house call, and I was like, “OK screw it, I’m going to build a clinic that makes sense to me and I don’t care what it takes.” I really wanted to prove a point that a young doctor with no name-recognition, no funding, no backing, could do what people thought would be impossible.

What did you want to change about the system?
Go on Google, and search for a doctor’s office. There’s no doctor that’s hired a graphic designer who is outside of their immediately family. Let’s brand, and create something hip. Let’s not take insurance but let’s not charge a huge price point. Let’s launch through social media platforms.” We opened in 2008 right during economic Armageddon. Everyone was writing my obituary. We cash-flowed in about eight days and we had a full practice in three months. And people just couldn’t believe it, how busy I was. But I had created this thing that become huge overnight.

Who was your typical client?
I had created the clinic for myself—for what made sense to me. At first I thought it was just really popular and it spoke to lots of consumers. But what it really did is it appealed to people like myself, hyper-creative people, people who can’t stand to wait in lines, people who can’t stand anything that’s not intuitive, they use the internet for everything. They’ll take their insurance card, they’ll try to find a place, and they’ll see me on Yelp and say, “Oh screw it I’m just going to go to this guy.” We became really popular with entrepreneurs, programmers. We probably have 2,000 people that write code and probably at least 400 CEOs of tech companies.

What have you learned about the way an entrepreneur’s brain works?
I’d always just gone and done something new and creative and innovate anytime it struck me. And building a brick-and-mortar business, suddenly I was dealing with stuff that wasn’t innovative, and suddenly I was losing my physical activity level. I was fidgety. But I’ve never had this kind of success. Everything was perfect, I was living the ultimate dream doctor’s job. And I knew inherently that if a giant boulder fell from the sky and destroyed my business and my entire life savings, I would be totally happy.

I was trying to figure out why this was. I had more and more tech people coming in, so I was dealing with more and more issues of hyper-creatives: Addiction, struggle, relationship problems, smoking, chronic fatigue, ADD. These are people who were burning themselves out. I had all these patients strating to come, people moving here from all over the world, diagnosed with ADD, trying to take Adderall. I don’t understand this diagnosis. It makes no sense to me. The description is like written for a 12-year-old boy who can’t get his homework done.

Wait, so everyone’s on Adderall these days?
People are taking Adderall to write code all night. No one’s following any instructions or using this stuff properly, everyone’s borrowing stuff from other people in this entrepreneurial community. And it’s really just a mess. I watched this PBS documentary on ADD and I was in shock. I realized “Oh my God, that’s my brain, that’s how my brain works.” I don’t meet any of the criteria for ADD, I don’t have the dysfunction, I just related to that neurochemical pattern and what they were describing.

We asked: do you feel more comfortable sitting in traffic or sitting in a burning building? To which, 15 CEOs all around the table all said in unison, “in a burning building.”

I was on a Summit Series cruise after that. I worked out a series of really obscure [potential symptoms] to question people about. I went on the boat with all these famous people and I was shocked to realize: It wasn’t 20 percent of the people, it wasn’t 50 percent of the people, it was like 85 percent of the people [who shared these characteristics]. It was like a parlor trick. I could totally freak people out and I could tell them about their struggle and I could say, “Well I bet you tried this.” And they’d say, “How the hell do you know that? My wife doesn’t even know that.” We did an event in Seattle for CEOs a couple months ago. We asked: do you feel more comfortable sitting in traffic or sitting in a burning building? To which, 15 CEOs all around the table all said in unison, “in a burning building.” When you have a rush of fight or flight, you get norepinephrine and dopamine in your brain, which actually calms you down.

This isn’t just CEOs, though?
I realized I’ve created a clinic that attracts people like this. They are emergency room nurses, Navy SEALs, firefighters. All these subsets of people that fall under a specific neurochemical pattern. They’ll actually be calmer than they are in their normal lives. A lot of the SEALs are very similar. They constantly need to be on mission doing something stimulating at all times. If they don’t they feel discombobulated, constantly feel agitated, get in trouble, get in fights. They only feel serene when they’re in the field under fire or under the danger of fire. I was like, “Wow, these are entrepreneurs.” I’ll go to Start-up Weekends and talk about this with a bunch of young hackers and stuff. Almost every time there will be some kid who will pull me aside out of the crowd and whip out his bars or something and say “I’m a year out of Afghanistan.”

What can this teach us about treating entrepreneurs?
They’re people that balance their neurochemistry by constantly doing something stimulating or innovative at all times. If you sat in a room with hyper-creatives and tech entrepreneurs, and asked, “How many of you can go to the beach and sit under and umbrella for more than 15 minutes?” probably 90 percent of them would say “no.” And the 5 percent that said “yes” would not realize that they’re not allowed to have three electronic devices working under that umbrella.

I have all these patients that have $15 million in the bank and are 27 years old, and they’re running around in flip flops and T-shirts advising six companies, building a school in Ethiopia, running around the world. They can’t stop. Boredom is like a torture for entrepreneurs. So they constantly crave stimulation.

I have all these patients that have $15 million in the bank and are 27 years old, and they’re running around in flip flops and T-shirts advising six companies, building a school in Ethiopia, running around the world. They can’t stop.

The most important thing for them: They’re meant to be physically active. I encourage every one of my tech entrepreneurs to find intense activity that’s both creative and social. Unfortunately some of them get off track and get into some of these triathlon things and ultra marathons. They lose some of the creative component and they run themselves into the ground. They’re running three hours a day and working 12 hours, and they’re just killing themselves. But if they’re physically active in a creative social process they actually can achieve balance. This is the way their brains are designed, this is the way they’re meant to be in the world.

How else can they achieve balance?
A lot of these people will do bike rides across states or go surfing in Nicaragua, all these crazy things, but if they’re lost, everything is new. Everything is new process: Where’s the bathroom? Where do I eat? It’s incredibly stimulating for their brain. They can do relaxing things. They can sit and read a book. A lot of them really love to travel.

Hyper creatives, they leave work and they go home and think about work all night long. These people can’t stop. None of these people can read instruction manuals. Their brain likes to anticipate and it makes them feel better to figure things out. So therefore I can’t give tell them to do these 15 things and you’ll feel fine, because they’ll never follow instructions.

Your questions about christian entrepreneurs

Sandy asks…

If karma/God were real, then why do bad things happen to good people and good things happen to bad people?

As a child you don’t really have a developed conscience or mind, yet I know many, including myself who got abused, then others who get sexually assaulted or punished, and grow up believing that’s just the world they live in. I know of a total Ahole, who cares about nothing, but himself but he now has a job making 6 figures a year, and is more successful and gets more acclaim than his “good” counterparts.

Look at all the innocents slaughtered in wars throughout history. All the entrepreneur bankers, and war figures, and all sorts of people who shaped society according to “their” visions, not God’s, and all the laws, regulations, and authorities we have to bow down to in this world, who don’t have the slightest concept or care about God, yet they’re allowed to thrive and always did.

I don’t see God’s power or divine force meddling with these affairs do you? Nope just humans with strong wills taking over, and those with lesser wills falling into line.

I just see absolutely no proof of any karma, what goes around comes around, or justice in this world. I personally try to have faith, and pick my battles carefully, and stand up for it, but it seems like a losing battle here.

It’s easy to look up and ignore the world and be like “god god!” while you ignorantly look over all thats in front of you that was created by humans using human intellectual energy, not God.

Like the computer you type on, the healthcare you receive, your clothes, pretty much everything.

It’s funny. We work for some corporation, or some place where it’s not about God, but about the work you do, come back home to our homes built by builders, organizers, contractors, etc, that aren’t there to do God’s will either, but theirs and for their bosses, put money in a machine…(the atm)…and then choose a God to believe in of our own choice, and delude ourselves that we’re somehow “saved”…and that alls well and God is in control (when in reality everything you did that day was actually to favor humans and yourself, not really God)….and all these other delusions.

there are so many reasons why I find it really hard to believe in God, and if all else fails, it’s because this existence we’re in right now is just so godless in so many ways, and so unfair,….that its hard to imagine that ANY god would allow this to go on as it is.

Not to be morbid but, if there was a God,..an all loving/fair/spiritual/blissful great God, then this world just by being here and existing, many of these people…..would be a TOTAL abomination to God.

Many of you are Americans…and haven’t really experienced first hand war. I’m not originally from here, I’m from Europe and I’ve experienced parts of life that no one should.

Have you ever seen an innocent child walking around and then get sh0t in the head by a sniper? Believe me….its hard to believe in God and have any faith, when you really see how things are in this world.

And that’s what I dislike most about many Christians and many other religious people. Many have no idea about life, many are just unhappy and bitter with themselves and other humans, so they turn to some “god,” but they’re not really qualified mentally, or even know what goes on around the world, to even have the slighest idea about how to even remotely define it.

It’s like children who are like “bla bla the world sucks, god god god!”

lol.

Ignorant.
And for those people preaching “our kingdom is not of this world,” and how god doesn’t interfere with human affairs,..then that God is cruel, because many pepole here on earth need him here. God as far as I’m concerned NEVER intervened here, and pretty much seems to have forgotten us or our problems. It feels like a foresaken world, in many aspects.

admin answers:

Heya All,
I have taken time to read all you people’s comments about the existence of an Almighty God. Well I do not blame any one even those who have spoken “NEGATIVELY” because of bitter experiences, the reason is that it is really normal for humans to feel left out or abandoned when the instantaneous needed help was not available from a believed source of help. We copmlain when governments of this world fail but we don’t quit from this world as a result do we?

Consider these two questions. (1) Will it be wise for Louis Hamilton to be driving at 120mph every time he is on the road just to show that he is the world’s Formula 1 champion?

(2) Will the World’s strongest man keep lifting everything he sees as he walks about the street to show his strength? CERTAINLY NOT!!

So is God, he acts when necessary, he allows some trials for a reason. Just read on.

Our problems in this world is as a result of one wicked spirit called satan the devil who influences humans to act wickedly to one another, as a result of this, after analysis of mankind’s inhumanity to one another, one wise man who lived more than 3000 years ago came up with the following summary

“Man has dominated man to his injury,” a Bible writer wisely concluded some 3,000 years ago. (Ecclesiastes 8:9) “It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step,” wrote the prophet Jeremiah. (Jeremiah 10:23)

“I returned to see under the sun that the swift do not have the race, nor the mighty ones the battle, nor do the wise also have the food, nor do the understanding ones also have the riches, nor do even those having knowledge have the favor; BECAUSE TIME AND UNFORESEEN OCCURRENCE BEFALL THEM ALL. For man also does not know his time. Just like fishes that are being taken in an evil net, and like birds that are being taken in a trap, so the sons of men themselves are being ensnared at a calamitous time, when it falls upon them suddenly Ecclesiastes 9:11-12

What did JESUS CHRIST has to say about what we suffer today? ” Or those eighteen upon whom the tower in Si·lo´am fell, thereby killing them, do YOU imagine that they were proved greater debtors than all other men inhabiting Jerusalem? No, indeed, I tell YOU; but, unless YOU repent,…… Luke 13:1- 4 Amazing!

If you consider the above statements critically, you will agree with me that the child born blind, deaf or dumb is not as a result of the child’s sin or wickedness from the child, but it is just a matter of misfortune which can happen to anybody irrespective of origin or place of domicile.

Another question is this, think about this, “If God intervened in EVERYTHING we do for good, will he be a subject of discussion just like today? NEVER!! Nobody will even care if he is there or not!

Even those who do not believe in him try to turn or think about God when they are “STUCK” in something or when they are hit by any misfortune be it natural disaster or man caused injury.

Have you considered your past wrong decisions? did you wish you have that opportunity again and decide otherwise? Have you considered that choice you made in the past that you are proud of? Whose Fault was it that you made the bad decision in the past? And who should you thank because you made a wise choice in the past? These questions if carefully considered will answer you the question of Freewill from God.

About Christians who still face troubles and difficulties, there was no guarantee of success in this system of thing neither are we immunized by becoming a Christian or Muslim or Hindu or any other religion because time and unforeseen occurrences has befall “US ALL”
Most tests we bear are mainly for Promotional purposes, Take for example you need to pass certain exams before you are promoted to a higher class or even to get a better Job!

Jesus Christ even was tested by the Devil, and then who are you or me to be ignored by the devil.
So what I recommend all us to do is this, no Mather your religion or what you believe in, if we stop our own natural wicked acts to one another which are but not limited to the following:

MAN LIE TO MAN, MAN IDOLISE MAN’S HAND WORK, MAN TAKE ANOTHER MANS WIFE, MAN IS UNJUST TO MAN, MAN HATES ANOTHER MAN’S RACE
MAN FORNICATE WITH MAN, MAN KILL MAN, MAN STEAL FROM MAN
MAN CHEAT MAN. Etc.

M – a – n – to Man and the list goes on. Were any of them against God directly? God is even asking us not to do those to our fellow man; in fact God made it a Law against him when we deal wickedly to one another!

God has promised to remove all the people who cause one another pain in no distant time and he will restore everything the way he has made it before allowing only the “THE RIGTOUS TO POSSES THE EARTH AND LIVE FOREVER OPON IT Psalm 37:29, vs. 9and 10: For evildoers themselves will be cut off But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be! So where do you want to belong?

IT IS YOUR FREEWILL CHOICE, for God does not force us to serve him or even recognize his existence.

So now is your time, try to pass your own test during your own testing periods. The test varies in nature; some people get their own early in life while some people get it when they are adult or even experienced enough to deal with it. But in the end of the day you want to make your MAKER AND GOD proud and he promises to reward you with Everlasting life!

In fact his own son died for three days in this world to save me and you and because he” CONQUERED” Satan and his world, God returned him to heavenly life and promoted him to the highest position so that in the name of Jesus Christ every knee shall bow including yours. (Laughs)

Finally:My own personal resolve is this:
“I WILL RATHER LIVE MY LIFE AS IF THERE WAS GOD AND DIE TO FIND OUT THAT THERE WAS NO GOD, THAN TO LIVE MY LIFE AS IF THERE WAS NO GOD AND DIE TO FIND OUT THAT THERE WAS GOD”

The choice is YOURS!!!!

John asks…

Are you going to the memorial of Jesus’ ransom sacrifice on 17th april after sundown?

Its celebrated once a year not as communion daily or weekly

*** Lord’s Evening Meal ***
How Often Observed. According to Luke and Paul, when instituting the Memorial of his death Jesus said: “Keep doing this in remembrance of me.” (Lu 22:19; 1Co 11:24) From this it is reasonable to understand that Jesus meant that his followers should celebrate the Lord’s Evening Meal annually, not more often. The Passover, observed in remembrance of Jehovah’s deliverance of Israel from Egyptian bondage in 1513 B.C.E., was commemorated only once a year, on the anniversary date of Nisan 14. The Memorial, also an anniversary, would appropriately be held only on Nisan 14.

Wafer Watchers
St. Charles Catholic Church in Picayune, Mississippi, has begun posting guards to make sure nobody walks out without swallowing the Communion wafer. This step was taken following a number of instances in which people walked out of church with the wafer, or Host, which Catholics consider to be sacred. According to The Dallas Morning News, clergyman John Noone claims that “Satan worshipers want to get their hands on the host” in order to “desecrate” it. The Communion guards’ job is to watch parishioners and see if they actually swallow. If they don’t, the churchgoers are politely asked either to consume the Host or to give it back.

*** g97 2/22 p. 29 Watching the World ***
“Fast-Food” Communion
An American entrepreneur, Jim Johnson, is producing disposable prepackaged sacraments for use in church Communion services, reports Christianity Today. The small purple plastic cups, about the size and shape of a single-serving container of coffee creamer, enclose a swallow of grape juice or wine. They also come with an unleavened bread wafer sealed inside the double pull-tab cover. According to Johnson, the product has the advantages of quicker preparation and cleanup time, economy, and hygiene. More than 4,000 churches have already switched over to the new product, although some complaints have been raised about the “mass-market” approach to the Communion. Johnson counters: “Jesus provided the first fast-food meal when he fed the multitudes.”

*** g99 5/8 p. 27 How Should Christians View the Mass? ***
Since the Mass is a principal rite of the Catholic Church, one might expect the Scriptures to support it. They do not. The Catholic Encyclopedia (1913 edition) explained why: “The chief source of our doctrine . . . is tradition, which from the earliest times declares the impetratory [entreating] value of the Sacrifice of the Mass.” Yes, the Roman Catholic Mass is based on tradition, not the Bible.

Strange, I thought the full moon at Passover this year was on Monday 18 April. I know the first day of Passover (Pesach) is on Tuesday 19 April with the final day on Monday 26 April. Are you sure you’ve got the right date? The Jewish calendar varies depending on whether it’s a Jewish leap year.

Anyway, to answer your question, I don’t think I’d be welcome at my local Kingdom Hall because I am considered by them to be an ‘apostate’ because I am no longer a Jehovah’s Witness. The fact that I was bapised as a Christian on 2 June 1996 doesn’t seem to impress any of your brothers and sisters. There would be very little point in me going along unless I was able to partake of the bread and the wine because I have a heavenly hope and am in the new covenant, with Christ Jesus as my mediator. What do you think – would they count me as part of the “remnant” if I came along and partook?

Robert asks…

What do you think about this school?

I’m thinking about joining the Christian Entrepreneur Peace Corps.
It looks interesting, what are your suggestions?

admin answers:

I am automatically suspicious of any organization that steals another organization’s name. The real Peace Corps has several points of difference with missionaries;

1) We are invited.
2) We help; we don’t try to convert.
3) We don’t judge.

I’d say we drank more and were better looking, but I’d be kidding.

El Yunque
What no one of the poor in Latin America knows is that there is a huge Nazi conspiracy in Latin America. Directs a group of powerful businessmen in Mexico that uses the group “El Yunque” to direct all the Nazi groups in Latin America. This control is made public through the group called “ODCA (Organization of Christian Democrats) that is responsible for all Latin American Nazi groups are coordinated to be and act according to the ideas of the YUNQUE.
El Yunque is the secret police of the PAN (National Action Party) which is the party in power in Mexico.
What is the purpose of the anvil? They have many, but the two serve as the main group of espionage and aggression against all political opponents of the PAN and also used to attack anyone who gets in the plans of entrepreneurs related to the YUNQUE. This includes the assault on workers who demand the fair and the assault on journalists and people who are publicly opposed to the PAN. And of course, is the same case in other Latin American countries, but the benefit of entrepreneurs and local fascist political parties. The second major objective of which is to gain economic control, social, political and religious from around the world, to deliver all that power to the group of powerful businessmen who operate from the shadows of the PAN.
To carry out its plan to dominate the world, use of university student or shipping of all types of agents to create cells in other countries (particularly in Latin America) then infiltrate and take the leadership of any political institution; religious and social system that can (and took power in Mexico) (In addition to using electronic fraud in Mexico, using the counting of votes in software created by a company which is a partner in the “president of Mexico Felipe Calderón ) We call on the YUNQUE “control from the ground. So get full control of all groups of society, which used to reach their goals and attack, undermine and crush all opposition. A very effective and tactical support with so much economic power, it is impossible to stop. I do not know what solution there is to it. They are unstoppable. But we must never surrender to them, for you, for all children whose souls are being destroyed, for the freedom that our families are unknowingly losing … The Nazis are powerful, but the peoples of Latin America are people of free spirit and creative in finding ways to save our freedom.

ATTACK OF THE PAN TO THE FAMILIES
El Yunque recruit millions of children and adolescents in public and private schools, and the recruits who are brain washed well, send them to Catholic churches and parishes, to lead groups of “catechism” for children and are also sent to the colonies and secondary schools to form teams of informal football or basketball or karate or hiking, to gain the trust of children who later invited to join a secret group that is false and is called the YUNQUE of the “pre”. In this study the false loyalty and fanaticism of the child. If the child seems viable, then invite him to another secret: El Yunque, where it became a recruiter, a spy who complained to his family without hesitation, that copy or steal documents from their parents and a rabid aggressor ranging from the scorn and the threat to terrorism and the selective assassination.
Hence the child is given full treatment and was filled with a total hatred and evil towards anything other than the dogmas of El Yunque. To do this, children are sent to so-called “retreats” and dads happy life My son is saying this along with some very good guys! ….. Oh, if they knew with what kind of demons are dropping their children. They tell the child: If you disobey, we will not disobey us to disobey God!
(Religious blackmail) So fanatical religiously to children.
It is clear that the leaders of the PAN does not believe in God, but a mock practice Catholicism to use religious fanaticism as a powerful tool to control children and young people who believe in his innocence is the story that are in the name of God crimes and offenses are ordered to commit.
Do not underestimate the power of religious fanaticism. A human being religious fanatic is capable of doing anything in the name of God. Remember the terrorist acts committed by the terrorist group Hezbollah, which the most common is that these people are operating with powerful explosives in the middle of crowds. How can a man be convinced that it is good to massacre women and children? Because the leaders of these groups know how to use a malicious logic and a wry sense of religion, mixed with extortion for creating a slave morality of absolute loyalty. Just prefer to recruit young people and children, because the minds of them is clean of any kind of malice, it is easy to make them fall into his frightening lies and deceptions.
Understand this: most people and youth who are used to recruit children and youth in the YUNQUE were fanatical and have total faith and allegiance to the YUNQUE a

Why Start-ups Are Like Fruit Flies

Fruit flies are widely used in genetic experiments, particularly in mutation experiments, because they reproduce rapidly and their genetic systems are well understood.

Your genetic tolerance for risk, coupled with new productivity gains through smart technology, can help your company revolutionize its industry.

Mankind’s most innovative, large-scale achievements: building the Pyramids of Egypt and the Panama Canal—even putting a man on the moon—were each accomplished with roughly the same number of people: 100,000. Luis von Ahn, the Carnegie Mellon professor who researched these epic projects, makes the observation that 100,000 may well be the practical limit on the number people it was possible to organize, using pre-Internet technology. Von Ahn is fascinated by the question: If we can put a man on the moon with 100,000 people, what can we do with 100 million?

I’m interested in the opposite question: If it took 100,000 people to put a man on the moon 40 years ago, how many would it take today?

The answer is certainly a fraction of that number: Elon Musk’s SpaceX company is successfully sending unmanned vehicles into space with fewer than 2,000 employees. And many more of the best-known new companies in the United States today also employ very small staffs. Matt Ridley, author of The Rational Optimist, notes that the size of the average American company is down from 25 employees to 10 in just 25 years.

Most of the national discussion around the current U.S. recession has focused on the negative impact of this radical increase in productivity: our “jobless recovery.” I think this is a pressing issue that industry and government need to address. But there is one simultaneous, positive impact on our society and economy from smaller company sizes that we should also include in that debate:

Product evolution and innovation happens faster now than ever before.

Scientists study fruit flies to gain rapid learning about genetic traits specifically because they are prolific, inexpensive to maintain, and adapt quickly to change. You could say the same about small companies today. For example: Years ago, two behemoths owned the photography industry, Kodak and Fuji. But innovation in photo sharing has been driven by the dozens of start-ups like Flickr, Ofoto, Photobucket, Picasa, Shutterfly, and now Instagram, that have launched over the past 10 years. Similarly, photo taking has been revolutionized by software and device companies such as Apple, RIM, Nokia, and Sony. It’s my contention that rapid product development and market testing of their products and services—something not possible inside most big companies—is what’s created the most value for the photo-sharing public over the past decade. And Kodak declared bankruptcy last week.

There are numerous other industry examples, and I’d welcome hearing from readers about their personal experiences. It’s my contention that competition among a large number of small teams to solve important problems gives us, collectively, the best shot at getting to a right answer, the best product and the biggest breakthroughs.

It’s my contention that competition among a large number of small teams to solve important problems gives us, collectively, the best shot at getting to a right answer, the best product and the biggest breakthroughs.

Astro Teller, who leads New Projects for Google, told a great story to the Mindflash.com staff recently that made this point brilliantly. A university testing incentives to innovation ran an experiment in which students in one pottery class were told their entire semester grade would be based on the quality of their final piece. Students in another class were told that 90 percent of their grade would be total weight of the clay they fired during the semester, and just 10 percent on the quality of their final piece.

The final pieces created by the second group were incomparably better, because those students learned more, went faster and explored more. The takeaway has to be that in an environment where we reward experimentation and reduce or eliminate the risk of failure, we get better outcomes—sooner.

Now, I readily admit that it’s one thing to burn through a lot of clay, and another thing entirely to burn through people. The human and economic cost of assembling and dissolving businesses can’t be ignored. But for those with the willingness and ability to try, fail and try again, these technology-driven productivity gains are driving each of us the opportunity to create something truly innovative for the benefit of all.

This was recently confirmed for me by a quick tag-cloud analysis I did of the biographies of about 100 of the country’s leading technical, political and thought-leaders.The word appearing most frequently in their biographies? Former.

Fix Your First Impression

The first place your customers meet you is online. So it’s time for a spot check: Are you looking your best?

Customer relationships are job No. 1 for any business, but building them with customers who experience your product primarily online and over the phone requires a unique blend of intentions, knowledge, and process (all aligned with clear expectation-setting). The goal is to quickly forge trust in the ability, reliability, and strength of your service and its team. These overall truths of your product and team are vital to delivering a customer experience that bonds the customer to your brand and your service ultimately resulting in a lasting relationship connection.

These days relationship building, especially online, is not for the faint of heart. Much of the Web’s transactions and interactions are set up as self-serve and therefore, by design, happen quickly. In lieu of a first-person interaction, first impressions on the Web stem directly from the initial customer experience on your website, social channels, or online conversations reviewing your service in communities or forums.

Every time a customer experiences your product or service, he or she should get clear brand and relationship context to support their purchase experience. Without it, a less-than-positive first impression becomes a potential disaster. Conclusions are drawn quickly, leaving you with limited opportunities to clarify, confirm, and resolve problems before your customers express dissatisfaction to their social networks. Both delight and disappointment can spread like wildfire at a moment’s notice.

So what can you do to ensure your customers get a clear sense of your brand, and the relationship you want to create with them, when they make an initial commitment to your service? Here are several ideas:

Be Explicit With Your Customer Philosophy.

Make it visible on your website. Communicate it in your newsletter. Create specific marketing campaigns around it. Write it on your wall in the office. Reinforce the philosophy with employees, vendors, and partners—anyone who has a role in the direct or indirect relationship with your customers. At Get Satisfaction, we express our philosophy through a document called the Customer/Company Pact. We encourage our customers to sign it and incorporate the principals in their own business. It’s a foundation to the way we do business and core to our culture.

Keep the Feedback Light “Always On.”

The days of monthly webcasts, quarterly surveys, annual conferences, and expensive one-off focus groups are becoming antiquated as relationship development moves further. Online customers want to be able to share ideas and insights wherever they are and whenever they decide to. In fact, they expect it. Encourage always on feedback by creating a visible way to gather it directly from your website and in your social channels as well.

Showcase Your Customers’ Success.

Shoot fun videos demonstrating your customer’s success. Surprise them with thank you notes, fun schwag and other material that supports your philosophy. Offer opportunities for them to share their insights with other customers, and employees too. Publicly recognize them for their expertise.

Surprise Customers With a Different Form of Communication.

In our crazy online, e-mail-centric worlds, you can shift a relationship by simply reaching out voice-to-voice. Yes, even a simple voicemail can have a big impact. The power of the human voice signals a different intention than can be typically be expressed through an e-mail. Even though we often shy away from making a call, sometimes it’s just what you need to build a memorable connection with a customer who typically only gets email communication often filled with corporate speak (jargon).

Build a Highly Discoverable Customer Community.

Make it easy for your customers to find and engage with like-minded peers. Make sure your customer communities are integrated with your social channels and your web site, as well as plugged in to your customer portal or CRM applications. True engagement happens when customers are actively helping each other, solving problems, expressing ideas for ways to improve your service, as well as giving praise for exceptional service and features. Peer-to-peer relationships are central to engagement because they build a natural tone of trust, which can be echoed, supported, and amplified by company employees too.

Making sure that the customer’s experience has the right brand and relationship context is core to building amazing long-term relationships with your customers.

Think about your business: How are your brand and your overall customer experience building trust with your customers? How engaged are your customers?
